Project Description

CSBP, Kwinana discovered in January 2013 that Ammonia Evaporator had deteriorated beyond repairs and required to be replaced in the shutdown planned in Late July, 2013.

The Ammonia Evaporator is a Heat Exchanger with 760 tubes, requiring precise fabrication work and specialised welding skills. The Heat Exchanger was fabricated with full radiography testing. Access Petrotec was given the target completion schedule of 3 months which was met due to efficient planning and work schedule by our partner facility in India.

Access Petrotec was awarded the contract in February 2013 and the consignment was delivered to the shipping agency in May 2013, well ahead of time for the shutdown.
