Project Description:
ALCOA required Access Petrotec to complete the Design, Fabrication and Supply of a 1 x Carbon Steel Neat Sulphuric Acid Tank, ladder, access platform and all associated components.
Project Deliverables:
1 Detailed Engineering Design
- Mechanical Design of Tank in compliance with API 650 specifications and ALCOA standards WAESTD014 & WAESTD016.
- Developed Shop Fabrication drawings as per AS 4458:1997 and ALCOA standards WAESTD186 and WAESTD191
- Design of platforms in accordance with WAESTD014 Section 4.7
2 Fabrication and Supply of CS Sulphuric Acid Tank
- Manufacture and Supply of all steelworks, ladder, handrails, platforms and walkways in accordance with WAEINF025 Part 3 Section 3.2.7, 3.6.4 and Part 9.
- Surface Treatment in compliance to WAESTD241
- Tank – WAESTD241 Spec A + LILAC 23 exterior colour
- Structural – WAESTD241 Spec A + colour Blue Grey N53
- Handrails, Posts, Toe Plates, Ladders – WAESTD241 Spec B + Colour Golden Yellow Y14
3 Packaging and Transportation of Tank to ALCOA Pinjarra Facilities
- Packing and Protection for Road Transport
- Delivery of completed tank and structure to Alcoa site in Pinjarra, WA
