CS Sulphuric Acid Tank Design, Supply and Fabrication

Project Highlights:

Fabrication and Supply of 1 off Carbon Steel Sulphuric Acid Tank within 2 months.
Shop Inspection and Testing of tank prior to shipment in accordance with WAESTD043.
Completion of all checklists, forms, Supplier Documentation and Technical Information in accordance to API650.
Manufacturing Documentation (MDR) in compliance with ALCOA standards and specifications

Project Description:

ALCOA required Access Petrotec to complete the Design, Fabrication and Supply of a 1 x Carbon Steel Neat Sulphuric Acid Tank, ladder, access platform and all associated components.

Project Deliverables:

1 Detailed Engineering Design

Mechanical Design of Tank in compliance with API 650 specifications and ALCOA standards WAESTD014 & WAESTD016.
Developed Shop Fabrication drawings as per AS 4458:1997 and ALCOA standards WAESTD186 and WAESTD191
Design of platforms in accordance with WAESTD014 Section 4.7

2 Fabrication and Supply of CS Sulphuric Acid Tank

Manufacture and Supply of all steelworks, ladder, handrails, platforms and walkways in accordance with WAEINF025 Part 3 Section 3.2.7, 3.6.4 and Part 9.
Surface Treatment in compliance to WAESTD241
Tank – WAESTD241 Spec A + LILAC 23 exterior colour
Structural – WAESTD241 Spec A + colour Blue Grey N53
Handrails, Posts, Toe Plates, Ladders – WAESTD241 Spec B + Colour Golden Yellow Y14
