- Fabrication was completed on time within 5 months of Contract award, and the equipment arrived on-site before the required delivery date.
- Detailed Engineering design in Australia to ensure compliance with AS1210 standards.
- Approval of WorkSafe and Department of Mines & Petroleum (DMP).
- Manufacturing Documentation (MDR) in compliance with AS1210 and AS4458.
- Post Weld Heat Treatment to AS4458.
- Vessel underwent full Radiography and additionally Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic testing.
Project Description:
BHP Billiton required a new unit Nitrogen Receiver vessel for its’ Kwinana Nickel Refinery.
Access Petrotec took up the challenge and delivered the fabricated and tested vessel in 5 months to BHP Billiton nominated freight forwarder in India.
Project Deliverables:
1 Detailed Engineering Design
Access Petrotec carried out detailed engineering design in compliance with the latest AS1210 standards. A third-party verification was carried out to check Access Petrotec design calculations and then the design was registered with WorkSafe, Australia.
2 Fabrication and Supply of Equipment
Fabrication of receiver was carried out at our ISO 9001 facilities in Baroda, India in compliance with AS1210 and AS4458.
3 Documentation
Manufacturing Data Records (MDR) of both vessels were prepared in compliance with AS1210 and AS4458 and BHP Billiton Standards for registration with Department of Mine & Petroleum (DMP).
